I’m İpek Mörel, a digital artist born and raised in İstanbul, now based in Eskişehir. My artistic journey began in 2015 when I honed my photography skills at the Eskişehir Photographic Arts Association (EFSAD), after over a decade in corporate life. My artist brand, Silky Way Art, is inspired by my name, İpek (meaning “silk” in English), weaving together the timeless allure of the Silk Road and the cosmic wonder of the Milky Way.

In 2020, I embraced the world of NFTs, showcasing my work on popular blockchain platforms. This venture brought success and connected me with a vibrant community of artists and collectors worldwide. My art has been exhibited globally, including in the USA, as well as in Italy, Brussels, and İstanbul, alongside dynamic Web3 platforms.
