Hello, I am İpek Mörel, also known as Silky Way Art. Born in İstanbul and now based in Eskişehir, I am an artist who creates stories at the intersection of the Silk Road and the Milky Way with a delicate, silk-like aesthetic.

After over a decade in a corporate career, I stepped into photography in 2015 with the Eskişehir Photographic Arts Association (EFSAD), a passion that enabled me to build a diverse portfolio across various platforms. In 2020, amidst the pandemic, I ventured into the NFT world, gaining interest from art lovers and building a strong community; most of my exhibitions reflect this digital journey.

My art has connected with audiences through physical exhibitions held three times in the USA, as well as in Italy, Brussels, and İstanbul. In my upcoming exhibition, The Dance of Fractures with Gold, I plan to blend black-and-white female portraits with the golden veins of Kintsugi, inspired by my digital background, to present a narrative rich in aesthetics and resilience.
